If certified environmental education institutions submit false or untrue documents when applying for certification, the issuing authority shall revoke its certification.

If certified environmental education facilities and venues submit false or untrue documents when applying for certification, the competent central government authorities shall revoke its certification.

5.What are the contents of the certification documents obtained through the certification of environmental education personnel?
Records of certification documents that have passed the certification of environmental education personnel include the name of the environmental education personnel and the national ID uniform number, the issuing authority, the approval date and certificate number, the type of environmental education personnel, the professional field, the method of obtaining the certification, and the validity period of the certification.

6.Under what circumstances will revoke accredited environmental education institutions?If environmental education institutions that have passed the certification have one of the following circumstances, the certification authority may revoke its certification:
  • 1.Refuse the issuing authority to visit or provide the necessary information without proper reasons.
  • 2.Lose ownership or right to use the training venue.
  • 3.Be canceled or revoked the certificate of establishment and registration approved by the government agency.
  • 4.Recruit students with false advertising or content.
  • 5.Curtail curricula or timelines without reason.
  • 6.Implement non-actual environmental education personnel training or environmental seminars.
  • 7.Evaluate as unqualified by the central competent authority under the first provision of Article 16 and fail to improve within a specified period.
  • 8.Neglect maintenance and management affects the quality of environmental education services and fail to improve within a specified period.
  • 9.Do not match the manpower allocation, course subjects, lecturers, lecture outlines, or actual business management of environmental education majors are inconsistent with the documents submitted for certification and fail to improve within a specified period.
  • 10.Violate other the provisions of these measures which have ordered to improve within a time limit and fail to improve within a specified period.

7.Under what circumstances will revoke accredited environmental education facilities and venues?
If environmental education facilities and venues that have passed the certification have one of the following circumstances, the certification authority may revoke its certification:
  • 1.False content of the environmental education achievement report.
  • 2.Refuse the issuing authority to visit or provide the necessary information without proper reasons.
  • 3.Lose ownership, management, or right to use the training venue.
  • 4.Be canceled or revoked the certificate of establishment and registration approved by the government agency.
  • 5.Be canceled or revoked operation or operating license of the environmental education facilities and venues approved by the order of the government agency.
  • 6.Fail to provide environmental education services at the facilities and venues for more than one year.
  • 7.Evaluate as unqualified by the central competent authority and fail to improve within a specified period.
  • 8.Neglect maintenance and management affects the quality of environmental education services and fail to improve within a specified period.
  • 9.Do not match the manpower allocation, course subjects, or business management of environmental education majors with the documents submitted for certification and fail to improve within a specified period.
  • 10.Violate other the provisions of these measures which have ordered to improve within a time limit and fail to improve within a specified period.

8.Under what circumstances will cancel certified environmental education personnel?
If certified environmental education personnel submit false or inaccurate documents when applying for certification, the issuing authority shall cancel the certification.

9.Under what circumstances will revoke certified environmental education personnel?
Environmental education personnel have one of the following circumstances, and the issuing authority should revoke its certification:
  • 1.Penalties determined by judgment for violation of the Environmental Protection Act within the validity period of the certification.
  • 2.Fine twice determined by judgment for violation of the Environmental Protection Act within the validity period of the certification.
  • 3.Transfer, lend or lease environmental education personnel certification for use by others.
  • 4.Other serious violations of laws, public order, or good customs.

10.The certification period for environmental education personnel is five years. Can people apply again after the period expires? What qualifications do people need to have?
According to Article 15 of the Environmental Education Personnel Certification and Management Regulations, an application for certification extension may submit 3 to 6 months before the expiration of the personnel certification period. Regarding the content of the regulations, people can select in line with their qualifications to apply for the certification extension.
